On Saturday December 8, 2007 Compton troops 248 and 683 put on a “Christmas Musical Celebration” at the View Heights Convalescent Home in Los Angeles, CA.	On December 14, 2007, Girl Scouts from the Lynwood Youth Center marched in the Lynwood Holiday parade.

On Saturday December 29, 2007, the Girl Scouts of Compton held an Investiture and Re-dedication ceremony at Ladera Park in Los Angeles, CA. Volunteers and girls were recognized for their achievements this past year. Participation troops were 248, 433, and 683.
