COSTS & FEES

Membership dues are $10 per year to become or retain your membership as a girl or adult member of the Girl Scouts of the USA. Girl Scouts are for every girl everywhere.

Please note that the Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach does not retain any of the membership fee, but forwards these proceeds to the national Girl Scouts of the USA as part of our charter agreement.

Other costs of being a Girl Scout are provided for through program fees, product sales, contributions and grants. No girl or adult will be turned away for an inability to pay membership dues - please contact Vickie Dynice (ext.210) to discuss alternatives and scholarship options.

Other costs of being a Girl Scout may include program activities, uniforms and insignias and the Girl Scout handbook and badge book.
