Donate money to the Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach just by buying groceries! All you have to do is set up a
Preferred Card with Albertson's or link your Ralph's Club Card to their Community Contribution program. See below for
specific details and steps for setting up your card(s).
Albertson's
Albertson's reward system has recently changed. In the past they had a separate Community Partnership card, but they
have recently changed it so that shoppers now just need to use their Albertson's Preferred cards. Shoppers can still
use their Community Partnership cards if they so desire. To sign up using your Preferred card follow the these steps:
Step #1: Log onto the Albertson's website at www.albertsons.com
Step #2: Click “In the Community” in the blue box located at the bottom of the screen
Step #3: Click on “Albertson's Community Partners” box located on the right side of the screen
Step #4 Click on “Shoppers”
Step #5 Enter your Preferred card number located on the back of your card and your telephone number. If you do not
have your Preferred card are cannot remember the phone number used when you originally signed up - call the Albertson's
Customer Service Dept. at (877) 932-7948
Step #6: Click on “My Account” located on the brown sign
Step #7: Click “Add a Partner” on the left side of the page
Step #8: Enter the GSCGLB's ID # 49000127887
Step #9: Albertson's now allows you to share your contribution with multiple organizations.
A new screen will appear asking for the contribution percentage. You may designate any amount from 1%
to 100% of the points that you earn to go towards GSCGLB. To add another community
partner either enter their ID # or you can search for them by name, city and state and locate their specific ID#.
Ralph's
Our council has recently been approved as a participating recipient with the Ralph's grocery stores
Community Contribution program. This program is similar to the one offered by Albertson's, however,
Ralph's does not require a separate card. Here is what you need to do to sign up:
Step 1: Log onto the Ralph's website at www.ralphs.com
Step 2: Click on the “Community Contribution” link located in the blue box on the left side of screen
Step 3: Click on “Participant”
Step 4: Complete the participation form, enter the NPO Number, enter your Ralph's account number which is located
on the back side of your card (If you don't have a Ralph's card, you may call their customer service number
(800) 660-9003. The process takes just a minute.)
Step 5: Click “Submit”
