Family Partnership Campaign 2008 - "Because She Matters"

We are introducing a new incentive for our annual Family Partnership Campaign. Family Partnership is a way for parents and adults to tangibly express their belief in the value of Girl Scouting through their financial support to their local council. This year we are offering a financial incentive to all troops who participate in this years campaign. Troops will recive 20% of all financial donations to the Family Partnership Campaign contributed by the families from their troop. Each girl whose family makes a financial contribution will also receive the special commemorative patch above. Please contact your leader or Myrna Pappas for more information.

ADD-A-GIRL PATCH

Our exciting New Patch Program – ADD-A-GIRL will begin on April 1, 2008.

Troops may earn the Add-A-Girl Patch by fulfilling one of the following:

• Troops with 10 girls or less – must add at least 2 additional girls with the total equaling 12 or more.
(Example: troops with 8 girls must add at least 4 girls to qualify for patch.)

• Troops with more than 10 girls – must add at least 2 additional girls.

• Cadette, Senior and Ambassador troops must add at least 2 girls who were not registered during the previous membership year.

The girls must be added from April 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008 and be registered for the 2007 - 2008 membership year.

Adult Recognition Event

51st Girl Scout National Convention

All registered Girl Scouts ages 14 and above are invited to attend the Girl Scout National Council Session being held on October 30-November 2, 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
