Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach

As April 22nd, Leader Appreciation Day, quickly approaches, the Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you who so generously donate your time, talents, wisdom, and resources in helping our girls to make the world a better place. Without the dedication of our 1,800 adult volunteers, girls would not have the opportunities to Discover, Connect, and Take Action. You are the essential ingredient for the continued success of the Girl Scout movement. You are the reason that we are able to serve nearly 3,000 girls in our communities. You are our heroes! As Marian Wright Edelman so eloquently stated, “If we don't stand up for children, then we don't stand for much.” Thank you for not only standing up, but also for all you do in caring so deeply for our girls!
