The entire Girl Scout program is built on YOU as a VOLUNTEER. We rely on responsible, caring adult
volunteers to bring the Girl Scout program to girls everywhere. Our success rests uon the commitment of dedicated volunteers who provide program opportunities to girls. Girl Scouts attract volunteers who represent the diversity of the world we live in, who are willing to make a difference in the lives of girls.
Here are some of the many volunteer positions available:
Working with Girls and Troops
Troop Leader/Co Leader - 1 to 4 meetings per month
Assistant Troop Leader - 1 to 4 meetings per month
Troop Cookie/Nut Coordinator - 1 time per year for 2 months
Outreach program volunteer - after school or weekend program, time varies
Working With Adults
Service Unit Manager - 1-2 meetings per month
Service Unit Team Member - 1-2 meetings per month
Troop Recruiter and Organizer - 2 to 10 recruitments per year
Council Trainer - 3 to 6 trainings per year
Other Positions
Special Event Assistant - time varies
Translator - time varies
Administrative Support - time varies
Council Committee Member - time varies
